PHOTOS/VIDEO: Ray Rush Water Slide Takes Shape at SeaWorld's Aquatica

Construction of the new "Ray Rush" water slide is well underway at Aquatica Orlando! Demolition of HooRoo Run is complete and construction crews have officially broken ground on the new attraction. Teams have already begun the process of pouring the massive cement foundations that will support this incredible water slide.

A majority of the fiberglass slide pieces and galvanized steel supports have arrived on site and crews are beginning the complex task of assembling small ride sections which will soon be lifted into position. In no time at all, Guests will see these vibrant blue and green slide sections rise into place, some as high as 60 feet.
