PHOTOS: New Markers Appear Near Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf

As you might have already heard, a new hotel is planned to be built in the area currently occupied by two tennis courts and the parking lot of Disney's Fantasia Garden Miniature Golf Course. Even though the tract of land may appear to be relatively small for a new hotel, the company that runs the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels recently confirmed that a small, multi-story building could be constructed in that area, and it appears that the project may be already moving forward.

Indeed, a number of white markers were placed all around the parking lot of Disney's Fantasia Gardens just a few days ago:

The current plan includes the removal of the Swan & Dolphin tennis courts and the adjacent parking lot:

The nearby pavilions will also be removed to create a new parking lot for the miniature golf course:
