Construction Impacting Several Roads at Walt Disney World Resort
Current and upcoming construction project will impact select roads around the Walt Disney World Resort (be sure to note that these impacts are subject to change due to operational needs).
First of all, several single lane closures and overnight partial road closures will take place in the Epcot Center Drive area this week. Due to bridge repair, inbound Epcot Center Drive will be reduced to two lanes (it will be reduced to one lane between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.) through November 14.

Overnight closures on southbound World Drive through November 9
Southbound World Drive will be closed nightly between midnight and 6 a.m. through Thursday, November 9. During this time, a detour will be in place using Seven Seas Drive to access southbound World Drive.
New ramp from World Drive to Vista Blvd opening Tuesday, November 14
In preparation for the flyover, drivers traveling to Magic Kingdom-area resorts, Disney University and Center Drive should exit from the right lane to use the new ramp prior to the auto plaza. Drivers traveling to Magic Kingdom Park should continue to use the auto plaza as they do today.
Please remember to always travel safely throughout property and remain alert while driving around Walt Disney World.

What does this mean for getting to the Car Care Center to drop off a car? Looks like the flyover totally misses the entrance.
ReplyDeleteIt seem like Guests heading to the Car Care Center will still have to go through the auto plaza (it won't be necessary to pay for parking, of course) and then turn left right after passing by the pond.
