Walt Disney World Road Closures and Attraction Refurbishments

Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort should be aware of the following road closures:
Beginning Sunday, Aug. 20, several single lane closures and ramp closures will take place in the Epcot Center Drive area. Remember to always travel safely throughout property and remain alert, as roadways continue to change in that particular area. Additionally, the westbound Osceola Parkway ramp onto northbound World Drive will be closed from noon-2 p.m. on Monday, August 28.

The following map shows the location of the ramp, which will be closed for two hours on the date mentioned above:

In addition to that, take note of the following advisories impacting attractions, restaurants, and other areas of the resort:

MAGIC KINGDOM:

Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid will closes at 7 p.m. on August 31 for routine maintenance. The attraction will resume normal operations on September 1.  

EPCOT:

The Coral Reef Restaurant will be closed for refurbishment on Sunday, August 27 through Tuesday, August 29 for routine maintenance. It will reopen to Guests on Wednesday, August 30.

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:

Beginning September 5, the Cruz Ramirez meet and greet in Pixar Place will be temporarily unavailable as it undergoes refurbishment. The meet and greet is expected to reopen to Guests on September 12.

DISNEY'S GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT & SPA:

The monorail canopy repair at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is scheduled to occur Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. beginning Sept. 5 and ending Sept. 26. Guests may be impacted by increased noise levels.
