Magic Kingdom Update: Summer Crowds Take Over the Park (Part 1)
While many people might be somewhat sad that the summer season is almost coming to an end (especially kids that don't particularly look forward to returning to school!), this should be seen as a positive thing for the Central Florida area as theme parks and attractions will not be as busy and the weather will slowly get cooler. How busy can it get in the parks? You will be able to "experience" that by looking at the photos included in this photo-report... We hope you'll enjoy it.
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom Park:
Our first stop will be Town Square:
Tarps currently cover the side of the Emporium closest to the Car Barn:
Main Street, U.S.A.:
More tarps can be seen on the section of the Main Street facades closest to Casey's Corner:
The hub:
Rumors say that the Main Street bypass might soon be open all day to allow Guests to reach the new theater:
Tomorrowland:
Stitch's Great Escape is still open to Guests from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
Tomorrowland was quite crowded:
The FastPass+ queue of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin was backed up:
The stand-by queue must have been moving at an incredibly slow pace:
It was a 40-minute wait without having any Guests in the outdoor portion!:
The PeopleMover was also quite popular. The line moved fairly quickly as usual, though:
Space Mountain had a 140-minute wait:
The entire mountain (including the main spire) is being repainted:
It looks like we will have to continue to deal with the Tomorrowland Speedway for a long time...
Work continues in the outdoor seating area of Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe:
Fantasyland:
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had a Flight of Passage-like wait time. Unbelievable:
Surprisingly, Enchanted Tales with Belle only had a 10-minute wait:
What's that? Yet another "experience" that is getting a shorter and shorter wait time while actual rides have long waits?? How about that! Great update as always!
