So are they just gonna..keep..Star Tours...there?
ReplyDeleteOutside of Star Wars Land?
Seems a bit...odd isn't it?
With The Great Movie Ride gone I fear that there will never be another attraction of it's type again.
ReplyDeleteIt's the order of things that new technological advances will bring advanced attractions possibly in 4D & 5D but they won't have the charm of TGMR.
With so much going on and with all that land I just wonder if Disney might've kept this attraction. If not for anything more than it's nostalgia value.
Just saying...................
Do we know if they are going to keep the Chinese Theater facade?
ReplyDeleteYes, the Chinese Theatre is staying. This is a sentence from the official Disney Parks blog announcing the new attraction. Note the "at the Chinese Theatre" part which confirms it is staying.
Delete"As you plan ahead, we also wanted to let you know that in order to begin to prepare the new home of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at the Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, August 13, 2017 will be the final day of operation for The Great Movie Ride presented by Turner Classic Movies."
