Islands of Adventure Update: Waiting for New Projects (PART 1)
The Universal Orlando Resort is currently focusing on building the new Fast & Furious; Supercharged attraction at Universal Studios Florida and completing some of the work that still needs to be done around Volcano Bay. Similarly to what happened a few years ago, it may look like Islands of Adventure won't receive as much attention in the near future, but that may not be entirely true as Dragon Challenge is rumored to be closing very soon. Let's walk around the park while we wait...
Our first stop will be Marvel Superhero Island:
Coca-Cola Freestyle machines can now be found by the cotton candy stand:
Moving on:
The Auntie Anne's location is a nice addition:
The Toon Lagoon Amphitheater has been sitting unused for too long:
It would be nice to see something replacing this empty venue:
Toon Lagoon will be our next stop:
Here's the menu of the Comic Strip Cafe:
This colorful land is filled with gags:
Sadly, it looks like the oil cans that were "leaking" are no longer working. Water used to spray Guests:
The nearby tire gag still works (it involves air, no water):
Heading toward Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls:
The Reign of Kong area is still one of our favorite lands of this amazing park:
The outdoor portion was not being used due to inclement weather conditions:
Jurassic Park:
An additional human dryer was recently added just outside the Jurassic Outfitters shop:
