Animal Kingdom Update: Exploring Pandora and the Rest of the Park
Since Pandora: The World of AVATAR officially opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom back in May, we didn't spend a lot of time visiting the rest of this amazing theme park (last time we came to the park we waited for hours to ride AVATAR Flight of Passage, so we decided to head home right after we rode the attraction). While we certainly enjoyed taking in all the sounds and sights around Animal Kingdom, we didn't notice any visible changes this time. The entire park looks great, though.
These menacing clouds can make any environment more mysterious:
Our first stop will be Pandora:
We still can't believe that this gorgeous themed land is finally open:
It's so beautiful, isn't it?:
Walking under these floating mountains is so unreal:
Flight of Passage's wait time is still unbelievably long:
Let's visit Africa:
The rest of the park is much quieter:
We look forward to see something new taking over Rafiki's Planet Watch in the near future:
Moving on:
We can never take enough photos of the Tree of Life:
Asia:
What an amazing view:

How sure are you that something is "taking over" Rafiki's Planet Watch? I hope that never happens. The train ride is a welcome rest and the exhibits and character meets are fun, especially for the kids.
ReplyDeleteRafiki's Planet Watch will be leaving within the next ten years, just don't expect it to be the next project Animal Kingdom tackles. Most likely they will redo Dinoland and retheme the carnival section of the land.
