Temporary Pedestrian Bridge Coming to Coronado Springs

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is in the middle of a major construction project that will end with the opening of a 15-story tower that will add 500 new rooms and other offerings. To allow for easier access during the reimagining of the resort, a temporary pedestrian bridge will open along Lago Dorado, which is located in the middle of the resort. Anticipated to open June 13, this pedestrian bridge will provide a new path of travel between El Centro and Cabanas. Signage will be posted to direct Guests.

When the new bridge opens, the New Balance running trail will be adjusted to feature one running path of .7 miles, along Lago Dorado. This will be reflected on new resort maps beginning July 1.
