LEGOLAND Florida Update: Tour of Ninjago World (PART 2)
Welcome to the second part of our newest LEGOLAND Florida photo-report. As usual, we invite you to check out PART 1 of this update to enjoy even more photos.
In the previous part, we took a quick look around the entrance of the park (including the new restaurant and the nearby LEGO Factory), Duplo Valley, and World of Chima. Now we will move on to LEGO Kingdoms, the Land of Adventure, and more. We hope you will enjoy this virtual tour of the LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
The Forestmen's Hideout play area is now completely surrounded by walls:
Even though the park hasn't officially announced this online yet, a new ice cream shop is coming soon:
It is unclear why the entire area was closed. Will the new Kingdom Cones replace the play area?:
Interestingly, the play area is also gone from the park map:
Let's move on to the Land of Adventure:
At a recent media event, the park promised that they would focus on indoor attractions in the future due to the warm Central Florida climate. It looks like this mentality is expanding to existing attractions, as a few of them are receiving new coverings. One example is the Beetle Bounce ride:
A themed "roof" is being added to this fun flat ride:
The nearby Pharaoh's Revenge was closed. Two of the park's major play areas were unavailable:
Moving on:
Some of the ride signs were updated not too long ago:
That's helpful...
A new, midway-style activity can be found near Coastersaurus:
It's time to enter the park's newest themed land - Ninjago World:
The entrance is quite nice:
We have to admit that the layout of this area is very awkward:
The temporary-looking fence and the nearby buildings are also distracting:
The back of this new area looks great, though:
This is the entrance to Ninjago - The Ride:
This must be the park's longest queue:
As usual, a small play area can be found in the middle of the queue for kids to enjoy:
The ride itself is a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. We were impressed by the ride vehicles (which use a new system that allows Guests to interact with the screens in front of them by just using their hands), and the quality of the video is good, though. The story was also easy to follow. Definitely a nice addition.
