Miss Adventure Falls Opening on March 12 at Typhoon Lagoon

"Miss Adventure Falls," a new family-style raft attraction, is almost ready to open to Guests at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Construction is almost complete and the attraction will open on March 12, 2017. This new addition will bring to life the story of fictitious Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure-hunting heroine stranded years ago by a rogue storm. Once aboard their treasure rafts, Guests will ascend to the top of the attraction before plunging into a white-water adventure the whole family will enjoy.

As the final touches to Miss Adventure Falls continue to be added over the next few weeks, The Walt Disney World Resort provided an exclusive first look at just some of the unique artifacts collected by Captain Mary Oceaneer. Here’s a sneak peek at Captain Mary Oceaneer’s dive bell, one of the many items she collected:

Miss Adventure Falls will feature two "firsts" for a Disney water park - the first ride-up conveyor and the first use of an Audio-Animatronic figure in a water park attraction. Stay tuned for more exciting details.
