The terrible menu comment made me laugh out loud! As much detail and time it took to renovate/retheme the restaurant, I can agree that they did not spend any time with the menu. It's bland and boring.
ReplyDeleteCan I say that the Phineas and Ferb meet should had been a new M&G based on Star vs the Forces of Evil?, and also the stage used for the Star Wars stage show(to be honest)can go away, and officially end the shows, and the Rogue One billboards on the Little Mermaid soundstage should be taken down, and same for the Snow White BR one(its release is over a year old), and lastly when will Olaf leave Celebrity Spotlight?, for IDK characters from Disney XD's new DuckTales.
ReplyDeleteWhere did they store the props from streets of America? are any of them for sale? Love to buy some of them...maybe American Pickers will get a chance one day...
ReplyDeleteI hope when this star wars land gets built that all star wars crap will be moved there... WDW needs to be Disney!
ReplyDeleteI think there are some iconic attractions that should be ringfenced. The Great Movie Ride is one of those.
ReplyDeleteJust saying............
I shake my head every time I see pictures of this park and think that people actually spend money to visit it. It's got a handful of rides and thousands of impatient guests trying to ride them all, scattered about the carved-out remnants of what was already a tiny and poorly-designed park (in fact, it wasn't even designed for people to walk around in most of it; it was supposed to be one long tram tour). Then, on top of that, what little is currently open to guests is slowly being turned into meet & greets (which don't appeal to anyone above the age of 5) and "previews", a.k.a. commercials, for Disney movies that have already come out and sometimes aren't even in theaters anymore. Also, I really wish they would get rid of all of the lame, gimmicky Star Wars stuff that litters what little remains of the park. It's worse than the slapped-together Frozen "summer celebration" that lasted for over a year. And while they're getting rid of things, they should also get rid of the god-awful Pizza Planet -er, Pizzerizzo- which has the food quality and atmosphere of a school cafeteria and the prices of a legitimate restaurant.

ReplyDeleteThe park currently is great if you are a Star Wars / Indianan Jones fan. There is plenty to spend an amazing day still (I call the park 'Harrison Ford' land right now :-) ). If you are not into these franchises then it is a little short on fun. Love the tower of terror and the rockn roll roller coaster but if I wasn't a season pass holder, I might not visit it frequently. I hope Star Wars land turn as amazing as I expect.
