Fun Spot Update: Mine Blower Coaster Construction Proceeds

Fun Spot America will open a major new ride in its Kissimmee park later this year. As previously announced, the new Mine Blower wooden coaster will be a $6 million dollar investment and will include an 80-foot drop, reaching a max speed of 48.5 mph. The roller coaster will be 2,256 feet in length and is expected to be open in the summer.
In addition to that, there are a few other changes that we have noticed while walking around the park. Come and join us as we explore this hometown amusement park.

The Rockstar Spinning Coaster is currently closed for refurbishment:

We noticed that employees of the year get their own brick in front of the arcade. Neat!:

There's still plenty of work left:

The Yoyo ride was also receiving some attention:

We think that this might be the future location of the Hot Seat attraction:

The Hot Seat had to be removed to make way for the new coaster:

This kiosk appears to be new:

One of our future updates will include the nearby Old Town. Stay tuned:

  1. For such a small park it really seems to becoming onto it's own. A Six Flags lite, It's rather nice.
