Volcano Bay Update: More Details Continue to Appear

In just a few months, the Universal Orlando Resort will open a completely new water park, filled with amazing water slides, lazy rivers, pools, and interactive elements, all complemented by great themed environments that only Universal can create. Even though the official opening date has not been announced yet, it is clear that plenty of progress has been made in the last few months, almost confirming the rumors that the park might soft-open to Guests in early spring.

Here is our latest construction update. We hope you will enjoy it!

  2. Can't wait you the scaffolding to come down on that volcano! Does anyone know if it will spray water or anything like that?

  3. Looks like a great water park but it still has all the normal looks of any other water park with the addition of the volcano at the middle. However it is still too close to I4 and the highway noisem

    1. I disagree about being to close to I4. Yes, it is close, but I think that will add to the enemy of the water park. With the water making noise, the people screaming, they will probably have music playing, the barrier wall up, I'll bet that you won't hear anything from I4. If anything, I think the location will build the excitement. Anyone passing on I4 on their way to Disney will have kids screaming in the car "I want to go there!"

  5. Also, in a couple years when the trees in the park really start to grow In, it's going to look very different.
