Epcot Update: International Festival of the Arts Begins (Part 1)

For the first time in years, Epcot introduced a completely new special event that aims to keep Guests busy until the Flower & Garden Festival returns to the park in March.
While the event includes many of the features that Guests expect to find (such as food kiosks, seminars, and more), Epcot's International Festival of the Arts is an innovative take on the typical theme park festival, as it introduces some very clever photo-ops, amazing artwork, and food offerings that are pleasing to the palate... and the eyes.

Just like in the case of all the other seasonal events, the front of the park includes a festival marquee:

Sadly, the weather was not cooperating yesterday, so the park was relatively quiet:

Express Transportation is still available near the entrance of the park:

While topiaries are not the focus of this festival, a gorgeous Figment topiary can be found near the hub:

Figment is also featured in event-specific merchandise found around the park:

This short may not feature Figment, but it's great:

Innoventions West is still just a character greeting location:

Living Statues can be found next to the Fountain of Nations stage throughout the day:

  1. The 'Abstract art' looks like the art from the opening day commemorative tickets.
