Disney Merchandise Recall: Infant Hoodie Sweatshirts

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts announced a voluntary recall for approximately 15,000 Minnie and Mickey Infant Hoodie sweatshirts due to a potential choking hazard for young children, as the snap(s) may detach from the infant hoodie sweatshirt, causing a small part (or parts) to be released. These sold for $29.95 each between April and October 2016 at retail stores across Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and on Shop Disney Parks App.

The products affected by the voluntary recall have been pulled from all stores across Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and removed from Shop Disney Parks App. Guests who return a product impacted by this voluntary recall will be sent a $40.00 refund for the inconvenience.

Please, note that Guests cannot return these items at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or a Disney Store.

RETURN PROCESS:

Guests can return the Mickey and Minnie Infant Hoodie Sweatshirts impacted by this voluntary recall by calling the toll-free number at 1-844-722-1444 (select option 2), Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST and request a postage-paid return label.
