Universal Studios Update: Coke Store Opens Soon (Part 1)
There's plenty going on around Universal Studios this year. While no new rides or attractions opened in the park in the past months, many new entertainment acts were added (including the new Marilyn Monroe show), with even more new offerings coming soon (such as the new float for Universal's Superstar Parade).
While we wait for these additions, let's take a look around the park to check on the progress that has been done so far in areas that are still under construction.

The new bag check shelter is starting to look great:
The new shelter is themed similarly to other other buildings found close to the entrance of the park:
The red carpet was waiting for us:
The faded Despicable Me billboard was recently replaced with new ones:
Although this is no reflection on the ride itself I do think that the building for JImmy Fallon's ride through NY looks very ordinary.
ReplyDeleteIt might get 10/10 for authenticity ( it just looks like one of many buildings you see every day in every City in the world ) but I don't particularly want that kind of reality when I'm in a fantasy park.
I can see buildings like this every day of the week so, please, don't give us the reality of yet another office block give us something different.
They are just adding to the New York area. I think it looks great!
ReplyDeleteAll images just say image host and have a little icon next to them. Anything I can try?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
It's not any random building but a replica of The NBC Studios in NY where the tonight show is recorded
ReplyDeleteThanks Pierre. I didn't realise the significance of the building design when I lest my original post here.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the quality of the attraction will outweigh my concerns about the building.
