Reimagined Sassagoula Food Factory Reopening Nov. 19

On Saturday, November 19, the re-imagined Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory will reopen to Guests at Disney's Port Orleans Resort after having been closed for refurbishment since July 11. This food court-style dining location will offer American cooking inspired by the flavors of New Orleans. The location will also feature a completely redesigned interior, including the eye-catching “float” almost ready to make its parade debut. Continue reading to learn more.

Operating hours are from 6 a.m.-midnight, and individual shops are open during the following times:

• Bakery: 6 a.m.-midnight
• Grill & burgers: 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
• Pizza & pasta: 7 a.m.-midnight
• Soup, salad & sandwiches: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

Test meals (which might be available during a soft-opening) will occur November 17-18. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
