Daylight Saving Time Ending Tomorrow (Sunday, Nov. 6)
Just as a reminder, daylight saving time ends this Sunday, November 6 at 2 a.m. in many locations around the United States, including Florida. Before going to bed tonight, don't forget to set all clocks and watches around your house back one hour. Of course, most of the electronic devices adjust the time automatically nowadays, including mobile phones, computers, and cable boxes, but others like kitchen appliances and the clock in your car may require a manual change.
While doing so, take time to check and change the batteries in your home smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It is recommended to test smoke alarms at least once a month (or follow the manufacturer's instructions). You can prevent smoke alarm failure by switching out the batteries every six months.
