Animal Kingdom Update: New AVATAR Lanterns (PART 1)
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park continues to receive plenty of attention ahead of the debut of the brand new AVATAR-themed land, which will open next summer. In addition to the refurbished (and enhanced) DINOSAUR attraction, the pathway behind the Tree of Life recently reopened to park Guests and the expanded seating area of Flame Tree Barbecue restaurant is now available. And that's not all! Come along with us and explore this amazing theme park.
Heading to Discovery Island:
The Tree of Life has never looked better:
As previously mentioned, the seating area of the Flame Tree Barbecue restaurant is now open:
A covered walkway now connects multiple seating areas:
This is a brand-new canopy:

In addition to being wider, the walkways are now net-free and feature a new fence and new lights:

The pathway then leads to either Starbucks or the gateway to Africa:
