Google Trekker Coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom
A small team from Google will soon visit Animal Kingdom to capture images using the Street View Trekker. The Trekker is a wearable backpack system that allows Google to capture images of locations that are only accessible by foot.
The Trekker may be seen throughout the park during regular operating hours Sept. 19-20. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Sept. 19, the Trekker will perform a park walk-through. On Sept. 20, it will capture footage at Tusker House and Tiffins.

Google takes a number of steps to protect the privacy of individuals when images are published to Google Maps. Per Google’s privacy policy, if one of their images contains an identifiable face, their technology will automatically blur it out before the photo is posted online.
