Walt Disney World Resort to Host "PhotoPass Day" Today

Throughout the day today (Friday, August 19), the Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate "Disney PhotoPass Day." As part of this special celebration, Disney's PhotoPass Service will be offering some quite unique experiences for Guests. 

All Guests will be able to enjoy special character meet & greets at the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. At Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Guests can take a photo and download it at no charge.

MAGIC KINGDOM PARK

At Magic Kingdom Park, a special character experience will take place in Storybook Circus. Guests will be able to meet Pinocchio, Gideon, and Foulfellow from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Additionally, Guests can take a photo with a Disney PhotoPass photographer that will be available in the Guest's account to download at no charge. The location for the complimentary photos will be:

• At the purple wall in Tomorrowland (which can be found between the seasonal Tomorrowland Terrance Restaurant and the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor attraction);
• Near the fountain in front of Cinderella Castle on the right side, facing the castle.

EPCOT

Three special character experiences will take place around Epcot:

• Mushu will join Mulan in China;
• Dopey will join Snow White in Germany;
• Queen of Hearts will join Alice at the United Kingdom.

Each of these characters will appear at the same times as the character they are joining. As always, entertainment is subject to change, and these character appearances are weather dependent.

Additionally, the location for the complimentary photos will be the area under Spaceship Earth.

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Guests can download a complimentary photo taken at Echo Lake. 

DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM THEME PARK

Disney PhotoPass photographers will take pictures near the entrance to "The Festival of the Lion King" show (located in the Africa theme area of the park) that Guests may download at no charge.
