New Bus Service to Connect Four Parks to Disney Springs
To make it even easier to shop, dine, and play at Disney Springs, Guests will be able to take a bus from any of the four Walt Disney World theme park directly to Disney Springs after 4:00 p.m. daily, starting from Sunday, August 28, 2016.
This is a one-way service from the theme parks to Disney Springs. Bus service from the theme parks will be provided until 11:00 p.m. or until two hours after park close, whichever is earlier (buses should depart every 15-20 minutes).

As always, buses are available from Disney Springs to take Disney Resort Guests back to their hotels. Guests with questions should feel free to ask a Transportation Cast Member for assistance.
So if you parked at the theme parks, you have to detour to a hotel before taking another bus to the parks?
ReplyDeleteYes. That's always been the way. If they offered bus service to the parks, the parking garages at Disney Springs would be full to capacity every day.
ReplyDeleteAbout time! Skipped going there several times due to hassle of going back to hotel first. Could have taken cab but didn't want the extra cost.

ReplyDeletePerhaps, but alternatively, the theme park goers will drive to Disney Springs and fill up Disney Springs parking garages to avoid the gap in service. There should be an alternative solution like the bus drivers will give a ticket for a return trip to the theme park good for that day.
Or just scan your park ticket....
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I understand why anyone who parks at a theme park would want to leave their car there in this situation. Why wouldn't you simply drive over and park at Disney Springs? With the two new garages, there's plenty of parking. What am I missing?
