Epcot Update: Frozen, Soarin' Around the World (PART 3)
Welcome to the third (and final!) part of our newest Epcot photo-report! Once again, don't forget to check out PART 2 of this update for more park photos.
As you have seen, there have been quite a few minor changes around Future World East and West, including the introduction of a new menu at Taste Track. After our tour of Future World concluded, we started to make our way through the wonderful World Showcase. Let's continue to explore the Norway pavilion.
Frozen Ever After is still one of the attractions with the longest wait time due to capacity issues:
Let's take a quick peek inside:
Moving on to China:
The new Inside Shanghai Disney Resort exhibit is now open:
Inside, Guests can check out models, props, and costumes from Disney's newest theme park:
It's time to move on to Germany:

ReplyDeleteVery disheartening to see Epcot go downhill like Disney let the Studios do.
ReplyDeleteWonders of Life is gone and now used a "event" space. So sad. With two great attractions in there, no reason to shut down.
Odyssey Restaurant shuttered as "event" space. If you can't put a great American Restaurant in the American Adventure pavilion, then put one there.
Now both Communicores, er, Innoventions, shutting down.
Seems to me that Disney wants Epcot to be the new Pleasure Island. Drinks and restaurants abound. Screw the attractions.
And seriously, the last World Showcase pavilion to open was Norway in 1988. Yes 1988. They could still have made the Equatorial Africa pavilion even with DAK.
It's just getting sad.
From the complete lack of attractions, it is easy to understand why the place doesn't seem too busy. What a sad empty place.
ReplyDeleteGreat update - thanks! 👍
ReplyDeleteThe rumors i'm hearing from credible sources is that Disney will focus (with around 1 billion dollars) on Future World. From what I'm hearing Guardians of the Galaxy is 100% coming and will include one attraction (totally different than UoE) and one show. As for the Wonders of Life Pavilion, the top contender is Tron (mostly from the incredible reviews coming from Shanghai). Although a possible and awful second option which Disney might do is just DEMO the building and sit on that space until they decide to do something in the future (not related to Tron). Lastly the Imagination Pavilion is in serious trouble and Disney is seriously considering demolishing the pavilion to make way for a new one (possibly themed to an IP or the old weather theme idea). By demolishing the Imagination Pavilion, it will actually give enough room for Canada to add an attraction, possibly their old log flume idea.
ReplyDeleteThats all for now, as for the WS... Ratatouille is already the TOP contender to be added in the France Pavilion.
