Dessert Party Offered in New Location at Hollywood Studios

Starting Sunday, July 10, 2016, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party will be hosted in the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
After checking in at the entrance to the Star Wars Launch Bay, Guests will be surrounded by photo opportunities, exciting exhibits, and character encounters in addition to Star Wars­-themed desserts (including the famous Darth Vader Cupcakes), a souvenir Chewbacca stein, and a large selection of beverages.


After enjoying sweet and savory treats from the comfort of Star Wars Launch Bay, Guests are escorted to a VIP viewing area for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular! This out-of-the-galaxy experience can be booked now by calling 407-939-3464 or by visiting Disneyworld.com.

Is the price changing to attend Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party?
No. The dessert party still costs $69.00 for adults and $39.00 for children.

Will Star Wars Launch Bay remain open during the dessert party?
Yes. All Guests can continue to enjoy the Star Wars Launch Bay. Dessert party Guests will be given a wristband and will have reserved space at the base of the Cantina steps for the experience.

    At least from the desert party at the MK, folk can coose to stay put and still enjoy the fireworks. Being in the Launch bay mandates folk leave to see them, and I'm positive that although Disney will say folk can stay, they will be 'encouraged' to leave.

    A lot of people must have been complaining for them to add something without raising the price or maybe they are hoping people will eat and drink less now that the food and drinks are on the other side of the park.

    The area to see the new screen based firework show is way too small. The show cannot be enjoyed from the sides it's like going to a movie and not seeing the screen
