Universal Orlando Resort Officially Introduces a New Logo
Universal Orlando recently introduced a brand-new logo to represent the resort. The company believes that the new logo modernizes and evolves its brand and aligns Universal Orlando with the master Universal brand. The updated logo is currently expected to be rolled out methodically over multiple years. During this time, Guests visiting the resort might see both the new and the old logo coexist as brochures, directional signs, and marquees are updated or phased out.
The following is the former logo, which has represented the Universal Orlando Resort for many years:
This is the new logo. As you can see, it looks exactly the same as the updated Universal Pictures logo:
LOGOS: © 2016 Universal Orlando Resort. All Rights Reserved.
looks better IMO
ReplyDeleteBetter.. but still cold and corporate.
ReplyDeleteI like it.
ReplyDeletethats the best they could do to update their logo?..OMG, thats pitiful.
ReplyDeleteI think it would have been better if they showcased some of their attractions in the logo. Maybe they could have had a spiderweb on one of the letters, a wand instead of an "i", homer's donut, etc, etc.
ReplyDeleteThe globe is gonna be updated too right?
ReplyDeleteLove everything but the "Orlando Resort" part, too big
ReplyDeleteI like the TM&©️
ReplyDeleteI like that it does not change much unlike the resort.
ReplyDeleteI think Disney looses by changing names and logos almost yearly. Village Market Place, Dixie Landings, MGM, Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney, Epcot 94,95, 2000 etc. I miss the old WDW Mickey globe logo but I guess when nothing is changed they have to radically change a logo or a name to trick people
