SeaWorld Update: A Look Around Mako's Station (PART 1)
Earlier today, SeaWorld Orlando hosted a special event that included a behind-the-scenes look around the newly-renamed Shark Wreck Reef area of the park.
In addition to highlighting the thematic additions that the existing land continues to receive, media members were taken behind the construction walls to take a peek at the outdoor queue, the loading station, and the area where Mako now stands. Let's explore the area surrounding SeaWorld's new hyper coaster.

A shark sculpture made of objects found during a beach cleanup project will be displayed in the area:
The old shark-themed shop is now closed for refurbishment:
The Lakeside Panini Bistro is also temporarily closed to give it a new themed overlay:
A new section will give Guests the opportunity to learn more about sharks and their environment:
Faux remains of a boat have been incorporated into the coaster itself:
