Disney Springs Update: A Tour of Town Center (PART 1)
The Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs is now open to all Guests.
As the fourth (and newest) neighborhood of this large entertainment, shopping, and dining district is already proving to be popular, even though not everyone is completely satisfied by this expansion. Indeed, some fans are lamenting the fact that the Town Center like an upscale mall, as it features quite a few tenants that can be found in multiple other locations across the Central Florida area.

It is beautiful but, don't look for any bargains. All the items that I checked the price on were full MSRP, no discounts or sales whatsoever. Welcome guests.
ReplyDeleteHave to stick with Disney prices, right? Besides, can you imagine what the stores rents must be like? They can't afford to give any discounts. Lol
DeleteThere is nothing unique or even Disney here. I can go to an Under Armor store in any mall. Aventura or Milllena are nicer luxury malls that are all indoor in a state with that is hot humid and wet. I don't get how Disney skimped on covered walkways like Citywalk at Universal Orlando. You cannot get from the parking garage to the movie theater without getting soaked at Disney Springs. I do not get how they spent millions of dollars and years of planning to create a place that most people will skip during a rain storm.
ReplyDeleteThere is really nothing that is only at Disney Springs even the spring is a rip off of Wekiva Springs. Not impressed at all especially when the older version had Chef Mickeys and real ice skating
I agree 100%! Disney did a good job, it looks nice, but it reminds me of the outlet malls in Orlando. I think that if you really want to shop, you'll still go off property. Millenia is so much nicer, prettier, way better shopping, and AIR CONDITIONING!
DeleteReminds me a bit of the old Mercado on International Drive on Steroids!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's exactly what it reminds me of, but with mall stores.
