Menu Updates at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Earlier today, some of the kiosks around Animal Kingdom updated their menus to reflect some changes. Starting from today, jalapeño pretzels will no longer be available in the park (this item was formerly sold at Eight Spoon Cafe, Harambe Fruit Market, and Maharajah Pretzel); they will continue to be sold at Typhoon Lagoon and at Epcot. Eight Spoon Cafe has also removed the lobster macaroni and cheese dish. In addition to that, churros are no longer available in the park.
I just died inside.
ReplyDeleteShocking! NOT... Typical for Disney!
ReplyDeleteThese items have zero relationship to Africa or Asia, the two primary continents represented at AK.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing Disney could do is use the kiosks to sell street foods more in line with those offered in various African and Asian countries.
Do we know what is replacing them?
ReplyDeleteI heard the change was due to people feeding these items to animals in the park. Churros remain available at all other Disney parks and jalepeno pretzels are still available in Epcot and Blizzard Beach.
