Dining options feature an extensive chef-inspired menu, specialty pizzas and a full bar serving innovative cocktails, wines and craft and local beers. Catering for corporate and group events is also available.
“The Orlando area has been on Main Event’s radar for quite some time and is an important part of our plans as we expand our FUN destination footprint into Florida,” said Main Event President and CEO Charlie Keegan. “Now that we’ve found the right site, we’re ready to showcase our distinct ‘Eat. Bowl. Play.’ experience in one of the nation’s top entertainment destinations.”
Originally built in 1997 and redeveloped in 2007, Pointe Orlando features more than 40 retail, restaurant, and entertainment options including an eclectic mix of award-winning restaurants, many unique to the area. Over the past nine years, the center has been transformed into a dining and entertainment destination with the opening of 322,000 square feet of high-volume retailers and entertainment venues. The center is home to 17 national and local restaurants, including The Capital Grille, Maggiano’s Little Italy, and Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant-Bar-Store, many of them top-performing locations.
“Main Event further enhances a strong collection of best-in-class dining and entertainment venues that have made Pointe Orlando a successful destination for visitors and locals alike,” said Susan Godorov, Pointe Orlando's General Manager. “Their exciting concept adds another option to Pointe Orlando’s diverse lineup of tenants offering something for everyone all at one convenient location.”
Along with the addition of a second entertainment anchor, Pointe Orlando is renovating and upgrading the property with the addition of an elevator and escalators in the common area, a second valet area on International Drive, additional tenant signage throughout the center, new landscaping and upgraded parking garage lighting to energy-efficient LED light fixtures.
