Additional information about the official Disneyland Resort app:
The app will share valuable information such as attraction wait times, character meet and greet locations, dining locations, restroom locations, PhotoPass locations, entertainment show schedules, and more on an interactive map that is updated in real time. Guests may either sign in or create a profile at Disneyland.com or Disney.com and link it to the app, or they may choose to not log in and reference park information.
Guests will be able to use the app to purchase tickets and entrance into the theme parks. Guests will also be able to purchase tickets directly via the app, and then show the ticket barcode on their mobile device to enter the parks (Guests will need to create or sign in with their existing Disneyland.com or Disney.com account in order to purchase tickets through the app. However, Annual Passports will still need to be purchased in person at a ticket booth).
Annual Passholders will also be able to link their pass to the app and use it for theme park entry. They will still need to present their actual pass for passholder discounts or to obtain Disney’s FASTPASS tickets. However, at the time of launch, Annual Passport holders who have a Disney Premier Annual Pass (which allows entry at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort) will not be able to use their pass for park entry.
The Disneyland App is not connected to the My Disney Experience app or Shop Disney Parks app that are mainly used for Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort.
