Grand Floridian Resort: Exterior Building Cleaning Begins

Starting from today, exterior cleaning will take place Monday through Friday on Buildings 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 4 (in that order) of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each building will take about one week to complete with Building 4 completed on September 11. Cast Members may need to enter some Guest rooms during this project to dry off patios and balconies. Guests will receive an in-room letter notifying them of this work and any special instructions.

    Do you know if they will be replacing the burnt out rope lights along the roof tops? Maybe replace them with more reliable, longer lasting LEDs?
