Disney Water Parks, Mini-Golf Course Temporarily Closed
Be advised that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, and Disney’s Miniature Golf Courses are temporarily closed due to inclement weather. They will reopen to all Guests when it is safe to do so.
Due to the fact that the storm includes lightning, all Guests currently visiting the area are encouraged to remain indoors until the storm moves away. Be sure to check back here on Orlando Theme Park News for additional updates.

There seems to have been a lot of closures due to inclement weather lately, more than in previous years and quite early in the season? Can you comment?
ReplyDeleteIt's our (Orlando) afternoon storms that come through almost everyday. They usually last about 30 minutes to a hour. Once they move through, everything reopens. Yesterday's lasted through most of the night though. We can use the rain, so no complaints here.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what the statistics are, but this does not seem like an unusual amount at all.
