Queue Test at Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
As part of a test at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the queue at Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show will not open until 30 minutes prior to showtime on June 25-26, 2015. Guests arriving more than half an hour prior to the show will be encouraged to continue enjoying the park until the queue has opened.
Upon opening the queue, Guests with FastPass+ entitlements for the show will enter the theater prior to standby Guests (following the standard practice).

What is the queue test for? If it is to assess how early they need to open the attraction then surely the test needs to be done during peak periods such as August, Easter and Christmas?
ReplyDeleteThat a hell of a way to stir up an angry crowd when they are still outside when the shows over halfway through. This auditorium has been open for years if you don't know how long it takes to fill by now your in the wrong job
ReplyDelete@MFD: I am sorry, but we could not understand what you wrote. Was that directed to us, the above comment, or Disney?
ReplyDeleteSorry Should have been more specific, the comment was directed towards Disney, it is my understanding that the auditorium holds 5000 people, clearly 30 mins to fill it safely is over ambitious
DeleteI see, that makes sense. Clearly, this takes into consideration the fact that the auditorium would not be filled to capacity. That's an interesting consideration, though, especially since there are very limited showtimes every day.
ReplyDeleteI just can't wait until they bulldoze it.
DeleteSooner than later I believe.
That is exactly my point too. June is not peak season and the auditorium is unlikely to be full. Those steps and bleachers are hard to negiotate at the best of times especially with young children let alone in a free for all manic rush in 30 minutes
ReplyDeleteI thought they were going to remove this attraction for future use.
ReplyDeleteIf the rumored....technically real plans move forward LMA is gone along with streets of America and pretty much everything on that side of the park. If ypu enjoy this show I would see it soon.

DeleteThis sounds like labor/operational savings.
