Bat Exhibit Refurbishment at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Beginning June 15, the bats usually seen at the Maharajah Jungle Trek will be offstage for 4-6 weeks while the exhibit is refurbished. During the refurbishment, the area will be inaccessible as netting is replaced and comfort fans for Cast Members and animals are installed. Additionally, younger (and older) Guests will still be able to obtain the Wilderness Explorers bat badge, which will continue to be distributed in the breezeway located just outside the exhibit.
