DisneyQuest Update: A General Look Around (PART 3)
Welcome to PART 3 of our special DisneyQuest photo-report. If you have not already done so, we invite you to also check out PART 2 of this update.
Previously, we checked out the Replay Zone, the Score Zone, and more. It's now time to visit the two areas with the most appreciated attractions (including CyberSpace Mountain, the Virtual Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold): the Create Zone and the Explore Zone. Enjoy:
Before leaving the Score Zone, here you are some photos of Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster:
More machines that feel incredibly dated:
Entering the Create Zone:
The attraction that constantly has the longest wait times is CyberSpace Mountain:
In this simulator ride, Guests can "design and ride the roller coaster of their dreams... or nightmares":
Living Easels:
This is very similar to a very old PC game that kids could play in their own house when Windows 98 was still around (remember?). It may be time to update it, even though there's nothing wrong with it:
Sid's Create-A-Toy is still around:
The Animation Academy:
Only some of the Radio Disney Song Maker booths were (barely) working:
In the Guest Gallery, Guests can purchase their very own creations (and spend more money):
Fruit Ninja was randomly dropped in the middle of the room:
Time to check out our favorite area, the Explore Zone:
This is also the best-themed area of the loaction:
The Virtual Jungle Cruise is still great, even though the graphics are dated:
In our humble opinion, Pirates of the Caribbean is the best attractions in the building:
The last major attraction in this area is Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride:

thanks for the update here. This is most of I've ever seen into this building. I hope to visit during my next vacation
ReplyDeleteI like DisneyQuest even when it was in Chicago. However It should get a Re-Boot and since Wreck-It-Ralph is there I would rather see it change to Disney's Game Central Station which would make more sense and see a neat retheme for the building.
ReplyDeleteIt's a museum of relic video games! Not worth the money. It needs to be totally rethought.
ReplyDeleteWe've just booked our 2016 trip and the UK tickets that include unlimited entry to all parks & water parks no longer include DisneyQuest for 2016. Do you think this means we could see big changes at DisneyQuest in 2016? I can't see any other reason to remove it from the tickets as it can't cost a lot to add it to a ticket that is already unlimited across all parks! I'm going to miss AstroBlasters if nothing else :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very interesting observation, @jon81uk. Maybe DisneyQuest will, indeed, receive some love in the future. Hopefully, thy won't just give up on it and close if ==t for good. It still has potential, in our opinion.
