Bonus FastPass+ Entitlement to Be Available Today
In order to help Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort visit during the upcoming peak period, a bonus FastPass+ entitlement will be granted to Guests making selections for Monday, March 30. This "surprise and delight" entitlement for a pre-selected attraction will only be granted to Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The bonus FastPass+ entitlement is modifiable.
Here is a screenshot showing what Guests will seen when making their FastPass+ selections today:
Guests who have already made FastPass+ selections and have not received the bonus may be issued a non-standard entitlement for one of the following attractions within the same park the Guest is visiting:
Magic Kingdom Park
-"it's a small world"
-Mickey's PhilharMagic
-Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
-Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid
Disney's Hollywood Studios
-Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage
-Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
-Star Tours - The Adventure Continue
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
-It's Tough to be a Bug!
Guests are eligible for additional FastPass+ selections (more than four) only after they have redeemed the FP+ set and the bonus, or after the arrival windows for all unredeemed selections have passed.
For selections made today to ride on upcoming peak days or for selections made today to ride on Monday March 30 only? Thanks
ReplyDeleteFor all those who play by the rules and have the advance reservation window for one magic band each, this should be upped to 6 FP per day, two in each category.
ReplyDeleteToo many folk are now cheating the system and buying/bringing additional MBs into the park under different accounts to grab up those remaining FP times.
I am so lost on this Fast Pass stuff. I am planning a trip to magic kingdom( just for the day- we live in florida so not taking a vacation ) and I want to use fast pass so my daughter can meet Elsa as an early birthday gift, I haven't bought the ticket yet, how does one go about getting fast pass? is there a certain amount of time that you have after you buy the ticket or do you just do it the day your coming? is there an app I can download for this? do the parks have wifi? any and evry tip about fast pass and how it works would be great!

ReplyDeleteAnon., you have to have a ticket to attach your FPs to. Just having MBs doesn't entitle you to more FPs. They would need to buy additional ticket days, which they certainly could do, but boy, would that be pricey.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, you can create a My Disney Experience account on Disney's site and once your have your tickets select up to three FPs for your day. Since you are not staying at a WDW resort hotel, you can only make them beginning 30 days from your trip date (which you would have entered in MDE). Yes, there is an app, but I'm not an app person so I couldn't say how it works. Yes, you can wait until you enter the park to select FPs at the kiosks (a CM can help you) but depending upon when you go, you may find all the most popular ones or best times already gone.
I was skeptical about reserving in advance (we've made two dozen trips) but it works well for my family, so don't be afraid to try it. You can always cancel or change passes before you go and even after you arrive.
@Sandra, the prior complaint from Anon person is correct. (Google for results on a certain fan website starting with DIS.) The loophole has existed for quite some time and does not require a pass to be connected to anything other than an MDE account different than the one being used for entry and the reserved FP+ selections. Once inside the gate the folk with these MBs head to the Kiosks for additional FP selections with these bands. Sneaky? Yes. But for now it is permitted.
ReplyDeleteFast pass doesn't help when the rides are breaking down
ReplyDeleteActually, if a ride you have a FP for breaks down, you get an email and app notification that you have one FP in your account that you can use on almost ANY ATTRACTION during that calendar day.
ReplyDeleteIt has happened to us twice with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride.
