Disney's Magical Express Changes Starting Feb. 2015
Disney’s Magical Express - the free transportation service connecting the Orlando International Airport to all Walt Disney World hotels - will receive a few minor changes. First of all, the airport transportation booklet will be replaced with a Disney’s Magical Express confirmation letter for Guests arriving February 15, 2015 and beyond (these letters will begin to be delivered to Guests beginning in early January 2015). NEW - Confirmation letter features refreshed layout:
- This new document provides the same helpful arrival and product information in a refreshed layout. The convenient, one-page letter features new icons and an arrival map to simplify the Guest travel experience.
- Select nomenclature has been adjusted in the document. The airport service location and motorcoach boarding area will simply be known as Disney’s Magical Express, consistent with airport signage. Reference to the “Welcome Center” is no longer used.
Here's a sample of the new letter, which includes valuable information needed when using this service:
At the airport, Disney’s Magical Express reservations can now be retrieved with the touch of a MagicBand or by scanning of the single reservation barcode printed on the confirmation letter.
No changes will be made to Disney’s Magical Express luggage tags, which continue to be included in the pre-arrival mailing for Guests with airport to resort ground transportation. There is also no adjustment to the resort departure process. Guests with reservations for Disney’s Magical Express from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to the airport will continue to receive a transportation notice delivered to their room the day prior to departure.
