Universal Orlando: CityWalk Opening Early on Nov. 17

As many of our Readers will remember, the One Direction band will celebrate the release of their new album on NBC’s TODAY Monday, November 17 with a special performance live from Universal Orlando Resort. For this reason, the Universal Orlando parking garage will open at at 3:00 a.m. (regular parking fees apply) and CityWalk will open at 4:00 a.m. Guests who are at CityWalk prior to closing will be asked to exit and re-enter, camping out will not be allowed.

Designated viewing will be available throughout CityWalk on a first come basis as limited by capacity and no theme park admission is required. NBC’s TODAY will be taping from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Guests will not be permitted to bring chairs or coolers. Select food and beverage quick service locations will be open.

In celebration of the new album, fans visiting Universal Orlando Resort Nov 17 and 18 will be able to experience some exciting activities, including a special, 10-minute, 1D edition of the “Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular” nighttime show. There will be additional activities announced soon.
