Designated Smoking Areas Coming to Downtown Disney
As most of our Readers know, all the theme parks in Central Florida are non-smoking areas, but they do include specific locations where Guests may smoke. These areas are generally located in isolated zones to preserve the health of non-smokers. Beginning November 27, the Downtown Disney will also officially become a non-smoking location; for this reason, select designated smoking locations will be introduced throughout property.
These new smoking areas are reflected on the printed Downtown Disney guidemaps and are located:
- Near the restrooms behind Cirque du Soleil
- Near the water between Wolfgang Puck Grand Café and Bongos Cuban Café
- Near T-REX
- Near the Marketplace restrooms by stroller and wheelchair rentals
Smoking of traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes is permitted in the designated smoking locations only. Select restaurants with outdoor patio seating also offer the option of outdoor smoking for Guests dining at those locations. Here is a map showing the location of these new areas:
Want an advice? DO NOT SMOKE! It's not only unhealthy for you, but also for those around you.
This is great news!
