Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando Trademark Update

As theme park fans, we are always trying to look for news and rumors about the many great attractions found in  the Central Florida area. Sometime, it's the theme parks themselves that give us hints about future additions, thanks to the trademarks they file. In fact, some quite interesting logos and names were trademarked in the past few weeks; some of them may sound very familiar, others seem to be new (at least to us). Take a look at what could be coming in the near future:

First of all, let's start with some trademarks filed by SeaWorld. The first one is "Ripper Row," and it has been filed as "entertainment services in the nature of an amusement park attraction, namely, a themed area." Judging purely by the sound of the name, we are a bit skeptical this could be something coming to SeaWorld Orlando. Could it be related to Aquatica or another water park belonging to SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment?:

The next SeaWorld trademark is "Moxy." This interesting name refers to "amusement park services, namely, appearances and shows by costumed characters." This sounds like it could be a gangster-looking character:

That should be all from SeaWorld. It's now time to check out some trademarks from the Universal Orlando Resort. The first one is "Despicable Me - Minion Made," and it refers to "Amusement park services; entertainment services in the nature of live, televised and movie appearances by a professional entertainer; entertainment services rendered in or relating to theme parks, namely live performances by costumed characters; entertainment in the nature of an amusement park ride":

Next is the very exciting "Jurassic World." While this is, indeed, the title of the reboot of Jurassic Park that will soon come out in theaters, this particular trademark was filed for use as "restaurants; providing of food and drink; hotels; hospitality services; travel services." It would be nice to stay in a dinosaur-themed hotel!:

While not related directly to theme parks, the trademark "Jurassic World: DNA" was also filed. The description provided for this trademark is "game software; video games; downloadable application software for mobile, portable and handheld devices; computer application software for mobile, portable and handheld devices; downloadable audio, video and audio-visual multimedia content; digital media; computer peripheral equipment; accessories for mobile, portable and handheld devices; gift cards; interactive computer, video and electronic game programs via a global computer network, wireless communication devices and portable electronic devices; game cartridges and memory cards":

The trademark for "WonderSea Island" had already been filed years ago, but it has been renewed again just a few weeks ago (more specifically, it was renewed on August 1, 2014). This has been the name for the new, rumored water park that is supposed to be built behind Universal's Cabana Bay Beach resort. This trademark has been filed for use as "entertainment services in the nature of water parks":

Lastly, the name "Volcano Bay" was trademarked by Universal Orlando. This name was brought out by a member of Orlando United some months ago, but this is the first time we personally saw this name officially trademarked. The description provided for this trademarked name is "amusement park and water park rides; amusement park and water park services; entertainment in the nature of a water park ride." Sounds great:
