Islands of Adventure: Summer Downtime (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of our newest Islands of Adventure photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers! Click here for PART 1 of this same update.
In the previous part, we checked out the Port of Entry, Marvel Superhero Island, Toon Lagoon, and part of the future King Kong themed area (which is still a rumor as of today). Let's now continue to take a look around this great theme park, moving on to other lands to see what is taking place. Enjoy the rest of these photos:

Jurassic Park River Adventure was down. This was not the only unavailable attraction during our visit:

Was it down due to a nearby thunderstorm? Maybe. That said, other outdoor attractions were operating:

Moving on:

The refurbishment of a small area inside the Jurassic Park Discovery Center continues:

Exploring the jungle surrounding the area:

The Lost Continent:

The refurbished facade of Poseidon's Fury look great thanks to the new paint:

Seuss Landing:

No signs of life inside Honk Honkers yet:

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride was down as well. It must have definitely been due to a storm:

Circus McGurkus:

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish was not operating either:

At least The Cat in the Hat attraction was working:

Oh, and one last thing... Work on the mysterious new nighttime show for Islands of Adventure continues. Numerous barges have been placed all around the lagoon. It looks like things are finally moving forward:

Time to sail away...

  1. I guess the nighttime show could be the new attraction for 2015.

  2. Universal is a train that wont stop! They are plowing ahead with attractions and experiences that guests want and crave. They push the limits with technology. They are doing what it takes to be the best. What's the name of those other theme parks down the street? I forget...

  3. Now if only they could get some decent food....
