Hollywood Studios Update: Farewell to American Idol (Part 3)
Welcome to PART 3 our latest Disney's Hollywood Studios photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers! PART 2 can be found by clicking on this link.
In the previous part of this update, we took one final look at The American Idol Experience (as a reminder, it is closing on August 31, 2014), then we checked out the Animation Courtyard and Pixar Place. Now, let us conclude our visit by taking a look around the rest of the park. Thank you for visiting the park with us!
The underwhelming Studio Backlot Tour no longer has a post-show exhibit:
The Streets of America:
Another show that was supposed to close years ago, but never did:
Frozen is definitely powerful:
The Muppets area:
Star Tours will be surrounded by an entire themed area with more offerings... in about a decade from now:
These new scanners are still not interactive:
A few more areas of the park:
Sunset Boulevard:
The sign of the Hollywood Tower Hotel was recently completely refurbished:
Before exiting the park, we noticed that tables were set up right in front of the stage. They could have been used as part of the special Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! package, but we are not entirely sure about this:
Time to leave the park:
