Downtown Disney: Entrance 4 Closing for Overpass Work
Beginning tomorrow (Thursday, August 28, 2014) Entrance 4 of Downtown Disney will close permanently to all traffic. This is the intersection that previously led from Buena Vista Drive into the West side area of Downtown Disney, between Cirque du Soleil and DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park. This closure is necessary to continue work on the overpass bridge that will eventually connect to ramps into the new West parking garage, which is also currently under construction.
Vehicular traffic may still enter and exit Downtown Disney through Entrances 2 (across from the Hess station) and 5 (across from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park). Pedestrian walkways are still available for crossing Buena Vista Drive at Entrances 1 (across from Casting), 2 (across from Hess) and 3 (across from Team Disney).
As a reminder, all Walt Disney World bus transportation will continue to operate out of the Marketplace bus loop. Thank you for your understanding as Downtown Disney undergoes the largest expansion in its history.
