This major hardware update for Universal Express includes new touchpads (you can see a photo of these new devices by clicking here), paired with Bluetooth handheld scanners. With this new technology, passes are validated almost instantly, when in the past it could take up to 30 seconds. This service has now become even more seamless to Guests.
