Cast Members Only: Advance FastPass+ Reservations

If you are a Walt Disney World Cast Member, you will surely be aware of the fact that you still cannot make advance FastPass+ reservations unless you are personally at one of the four theme parks. This is quite disappointing, especially since you also cannot make advance reservations for Guests you take into the parks using your Main Gate pass (even in that case, you still need to be in the parks). That being said, there's one kind of ticket that gives you a bit more freedom.


In fact, complimentary eTickets (usually given in July and December) DO give you the opportunity to take advantage of the so-called possibility of "reserving a racecar from your recliner" (quote from a Disney ad).

Complimentary eTickets can be linked directly to a My Disney Experience profile for making Disney FastPass+ selections in advance, and associated with a MagicBand (if you have one from a past stay-cation at one of the Disney hotels, even if it was used many months ago) for use at the main entrance touch points.

As a reminder, when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, complimentary eTickets should be exchanged at a ticket sales window for RF enabled ticket media that may be used for admission. The next round of complimentary theme park eTickets will be available beginning Monday, July 21, 2014.
