Every four years, soccer fans around the world cheer on 32 international men’s soccer teams competing for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) ultimate title. The 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 12 and runs through July 13 in Brazil. Here is a list of the locations where Walt Disney World Guests can enjoy these special, limited-time offerings:
- A Goofy topiary is located between World Showcase and Spaceship Earth for a photo opportunity
- Guests can test their soccer skills at a Disney-created soccer experience near Germany at Epcot now-July 13
- Specialty merchandise is available in select retail locations across property including the new United World Soccer store at Downtown Disney
- 2014 FIFA World Cup matches will be broadcasted at select locations across the Walt Disney World Resort, including:
- Epcot,
- Downtown Disney Area,
- Resort hotels,
- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex,
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
