Disney Springs Project Updates (Apr. 13-19, 2014)

As most of our Readers will already know, the Downtown Disney area continues to receive work related to the major Disney Springs project, and many parking lots, stores, and restaurants continue to be surrounded by walls due to construction. This morning we have just a few minor updates that we would like to share with you (no photos included in this report, though). Here is a quick snapshot of several projects underway this week at Downtown Disney:

In progress:

• E, F and G modifications (pedestrian and vehicle may still go through along a modified route).
• Work continues on phase 1 of a series of elevated spaces along the West Side promenade.
• Watercraft routes have temporarily changed as work on the Marketplace Causeway continues.
• Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort bridge construction continues.

New work:

• A new wall configuration will be in place at the Lilly Pad near Fulton’s Crab House and Portobello to prepare for The Landing. This work is expected to be complete this summer.
• Look for modifications at Keith’s Park, including a new wall configuration in mid April.
