MyMagic+ News: WDW Annual Passholders Update
As part of the test-and-adjust process for MyMagic+, all Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders are now eligible to customize MagicBands and make FastPass+ selections in advance. When they customize their MagicBands, Passholders will receive a newly designed package with MagicBands, a black or gold Passholder discount card and an exclusive Passholder MagicSlider. MagicBands for Passholders will be shipped beginning in late March and should arrive within 10 days of shipment.
Passholders as day Guests:
During the ongoing testing, Passholders who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance of their visit. They can hold up to seven days of FastPass+ selections in a rolling 30-day window.

Passholders as resort Guests:
When Passholders who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel link their resort reservations in My Disney Experience, they can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance of their check-in date. They can make selections for seven days or the length of their resort stay, whichever is greater.

In their MagicBand package, Passholders will find a discount card below the tray that holds their MagicBands as well as an exclusive MagicSlider. Passholders should present the discount card and a photo ID to obtain discounts around the Walt Disney World Resort. (The MagicSlider is meant as a keepsake and cannot be used for discount verification.)
The discount card is the only Passholder media that includes the Guest’s name and the expiration date of the Pass, making it the best means of verification for discounts at Walt Disney World Resort and Operating Participant locations. It is not RF-enabled, and it does not contain a magnetic stripe. Passholders will get either a gold or black discount card.
- The gold card indicates that the Passholder is eligible for complimentary parking at the theme parks;
- The black card indicates that the Passholder is required to pay for parking.
If Passholders are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, they will not be able to establish charging privileges on their MagicBands. Only Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can establish charging privileges by linking a personal credit card to their resort account.
Guests staying at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, Shades of Green, resort hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard and other Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotels also are not able to use MagicBands to touch to pay.
Mine is not showing up :(
ReplyDeleteDid you link your Annual Pass ticket to your account?
ReplyDeleteYes, it shows up with my resort reservation but not in the my magicbands and cards section. I called and they said that is ok. But it's not ok to me! I know I will be getting a magicband for my room reservation but I wanted the special AP slider and discount card. Hopefully I will get it at some point.
