Hollywood Studios: Muppet*Vision 3D Pre-Show Update
To celebrate the new Muppet film “Muppets Most Wanted” opening in theaters soon, Walt Disney Imagineering will install a new version of the pre-show video in Muppet*Vision 3-D this week.
The new version of the pre-show video for the Muppet*Vision 3-D extravaganza will be essentially the existing video but with a “pirate broadcast” interruption from Constantine, the evil villain from the film. There will be no change to the timing or length of the current pre-show video.

So not a real update but just to connect the movie to the pre show to sell more tickets and dvd's later on. Why can't Disney do anything anymore just for the heck of it, just to delight guests. It now only exists to make more money.
ReplyDeletei think they do do those things on a small scale through their cast members. there are countless stories of them going above and beyond to give that little special touch to a guest. No company is going to go out there and spend millions of dollars just for the heck of it though. for example the only reason that universal is doing this potter expansion right now is to force guests to buy a two park ticket and if the lands aren't exciting and top of the line they arent going to take any of the market share away from Disney. at the end of the day they are businesses, thats just how things work.
